1. Personal documents
- i.e. birth certificate, scholar certificate, criminal record, diploma.
- each document must be translated to Arabic language by a certified translator and both versions (Original and Arabic) must be stamped by the Minstry of foreign and European affairs of the Slovak Republuic.
legalization process:
- certification by the notary and/or district office
- certification by the competent regional court
- legalization by the Ministry of Foreign and European affairs of the Slovak Republic
- Translation of the original document onto Arabic by a certified translator
- regional court certification of the translation
- legalization by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic
- legalization by the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Bratislava

Documents requires for marriage in Egypt:
- affidavit of marital status
- confirmation that the SLovak Republic does not issue a marital status certificate
- birth certificate
- baptism certificate
- judgement certificate (in case of a divorced individual)
2. Commercial documents
- document must be stamped by the chamber of commerce before presenting it at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt
